Tours and Tickets

Thank you for your interest in visiting our nation’s Capitol. My office will work with you to arrange tours and we’ll do everything we can to make your visit a memorable one.

There are five institutions in Washington, D.C. that allow congressional offices to arrange for reserved tours: the White House, the Capitol, the Library of Congress, the Supreme Court, and the Bureau of Engraving and Printing.

All tours are provided on a first-come/first-served basis. Due to the large number of visitors to D.C., we recommend that you submit your request as early as possible because no guarantees exist that our request on your behalf will be accepted by the individual institution. This is especially important when requesting a White House tour or if you’re visiting D.C. during the peak tourist season between March and October when all tours can fill up completely as early as three months in advance. But rest assured … we will do everything we can to help secure the tour(s) you’re requesting.

A note specifically about the White House: It’s important to understand that the White House is completely in charge of its tour schedule and what days they are open for them. We will request a tour for you but we cannot guarantee you’ll get one regardless of how early your request is submitted. The White House is the most popular tourist destination in Washington and tours consistently fill up three months in advance. Again, my office will do everything we can to secure a tour.

My office can also provide you with tickets to visit the House and Senate galleries. You should come to my office at 241 Cannon House Office Building from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday to get your Gallery passes which are always available through my office and do not require any reservations.

Please fill out and submit the form below for your tour request(s). Should you have any questions, just call us at (202) 225-8104. We’ll do everything we can to make your visit a terrific one!
