Press Release

WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, Health Subcommittee Chairwoman Anna G. Eshoo (CA-18) released the following statement in response to last night's legal filing by Trump Administration with the Supreme Court asking the court to strike down the Affordable Care Act:

“Late last night, the Trump Administration asked the Supreme Court to invalidate the entire Affordable Care Act. In the middle of the worst pandemic in a century and record job losses, taking away healthcare coverage from 23 million Americans, including protections for pre-existing conditions and the Medicaid safety net for the most vulnerable, is immoral and indefensible."
