PALO ALTO, CA — Today, Rep. Eshoo released the following statement regarding the upcoming House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence hearing with Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire:

"On Thursday, September 26th the Acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Maguire will appear before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence. What is required of him by law is crystal clear—he shall provide Congress with the whistleblower complaint against the President, which the Intelligence Community Inspector General has deemed both ‘urgent' and ‘credible.' Congress must obtain the whistleblower complaint to assess if the President asked a foreign power to interfere in our election."

Congresswoman Eshoo served on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence from January 2003 until January 2011.
