Yesterday, Rep. Eshoo spoke with Scott McGrew, technology reporter for NBC Bay Area, about her legislation to provide consumers with accurate information and speeds about their wireless data plans. Eshoo introduced the Next Generation Wireless Disclosure Act in June, and this week, Senators Richard Blumenthal, Amy Klobuchar and Al Franken the Senate version of the legislation.

Josh Richman, political writer for the Bay Area News Group, recently wrote about Eshoo's legislation, the Next Generation Wireless Disclosure Act, which was introduced by Senators Blumenthal, Klobuchar and Franken.  Eshoo's legislation would require wireless providers to give complete, accurate information about their 4G wireless data services in their ads and sales practices.
