When the week began with President Obama still hawking Obamacare and trying to characterize HealthCare.gov as merely suffering from some “glitches,” many of us thought the Democrats would play along. Given the overwhelming media attention however, they were compelled to act. Rep. Rep. Anna Eshoo (D-Calif.) stood out with her no-nonsense comments debunking the administration’s favorite excuse for Obamacare’s belly-flop.

We hope she adheres to that level of candor as time goes on. For expressing the incredulity felt by many of us about the administration’s “lame” excuses, we can say well done, Congresswoman Eshoo.
