ESHOO APPLAUDS 125TH ANNIVERSARY OF U.S. GEOLOGICAL SURVEY -- INTRODUCES HOUSE RESOLUTION CELEBRATING AGENCY'S ACHIEVEMENTS
Rep. Anna G. Eshoo joined Rep. James Moran (D-VA) in introducing a Resolution honoring the 125th anniversary of the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS).
"The USGS has long been one of our nation's most trusted scientific agencies," Eshoo said. "In Menlo Park, for instance, the USGS's Earthquake Hazards Program has repeatedly pursued groundbreaking earth science research, helping communities and individuals prepare for the threat of earthquakes and other natural disasters. It's a privilege to honor the work of the USGS not only in California, but across our entire country."
