“Today, the nonpartisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) put out the facts. The repeal plan will reduce benefits and increase costs. Period. If Republicans have their way in passing this legislation, 14 million people will lose their coverage in 2018, and 24 million will lose their coverage in 2026, bringing the uninsured rate to a staggering 52 million. For those who actually get to keep their health insurance, they will pay on average of 15% to 20% more than their current premiums for less coverage.
