Community Project Funding Requests
Every year the House passes legislation to appropriate funding for the federal government, which includes Community Project Funding requests submitted by Representatives from each Congressional District. Congresswoman Eshoo has submitted the following projects to the Appropriations Committee for consideration in this legislation. In accordance with the Rules of the House, Congresswoman Eshoo has certified that she and her immediate family have no financial interest in these projects. FY 2022 Community Projects
In March 2022, the House passed a bipartisan Omnibus bill to fund the government through the end of the fiscal year, and it included $12.5 million for 10 community projects in California's 18th Congressional District. The funds respond directly to some of the pressing needs in the District, including mental health, education, fire mitigation, and critical infrastructure projects. The projects are:
