58th Presidential Inauguration

November 10th, 2016

Dear Friends,

On Friday January 20, 2017, the next President-elect and Vice President-elect will be sworn in on the West Front of the U.S. Capitol in Washington, D.C.

Consistent with previous inaugurations, all Members of the new Congress will receive a limited number of tickets for their constituents to attend the swearing-in ceremony. Tickets are free and are only available through Congressional offices.

As I have done previously, we will conduct a lottery of inauguration tickets for all requests made by constituents living in California’s 18th Congressional District. To participate, please complete and submit the form below by Thursday, December 1st.

Information Regarding the 58th Presidential Inaugural Ceremonies at the U.S. Capitol

Note that there is only one entry per household and each entry will be for two tickets. My office will inform those who are selected by Friday, December 16th. Should your name be chosen, you will receive an email with instructions for claiming your ticket.

No ticket will be transferable. Each ticket holder is required to pick up tickets in person with a photo ID and sign for them in my Washington D.C. office by January 19th. For security reasons we cannot mail tickets or make any special arrangements. No exceptions.

The public can still attend the ceremony without a ticket and for more information you can visit the Committee’s website at www.inaugural.senate.gov.

Should you have any questions, just call us at (202) 225-8104.

All my best,

Anna G. Eshoo
Member of Congress

Republicans took away our internet privacy rights. Now they want to gut #netneutrality rules. We must mobilize to protect an open internet.
