Throughout the year, I hold Town Hall Meetings in communities throughout the District to discuss recent actions in Congress as well as my legislative work. Town Hall Meetings are an important way for constituents to come together to learn more about issues. I learn a great deal first-hand from the attendees as well. The meetings are held at different locations throughout the District so everyone has an opportunity to attend.

Over the years, I've held Town Hall Meetings on different issues including Protecting Children on the Internet, the California Energy Crisis, the Federal Budget and New Changes to Medicare. Recently, we have held Town Hall meetings on Medicare Prescription Drugs and general federal issues. We visited Scotts Valley, Bonny Doon, Boulder Creek, Redwood City, Saratoga, Monte Sereno, Sunnyvale, Felton, Atherton, Menlo Park, Ben Lomond, Corralitos, Belmont, Woodside, Half Moon Bay, Palo Alto, Mountain View and Pescadero. Before a Town Hall meeting is held, I send notices or place phone calls to every registered voter informing them where and when the meeting will be held and I post information on my website about it.
